Cream Chargers

Cream chargers – the molecular mixologists’ friend! or at least they prove to be a bit of a dinner party hit! I was sent one from www.creamchargers.org.uk to see how I got on with it for making some foamy espuma floated cocktails …

and let’s just say I was rather pleased with the outcome – as were the ladies that I was trying to impress. I followed the recipe above for the mango espuma and floated it onto a pina-colada for a cream chargers inspired bit of modern meets retro.

It was all very 1970 chic with some space-age molecular foam, although it might not be possible to get hold of any in the near future..

And most importantly of all, it didn’t sink but floated like a light and fluffy cloud on high over valleys of palm plantations and bubbling waterfalls…
